Under the motto “Germany Digital. Innovative. Sovereign. International.”, this year's Digital Summit of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection and the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport will take place in Frankfurt am Main on October 21 and 22. More than 1,500 participants from politics, business, science and civil society will be discussing the digital challenges of our time. Fraunhofer ISST will also be there, organizing and moderating a panel on the challenges and solutions for successful cross-border data exchange.

Panel “Cross Border Data Sharing: Sharing data to tackle global challenges”

How can global challenges such as climate change and supply chain crises be overcome by sharing data? In a rotating format, we will discuss the challenges, opportunities and solutions of cross-border data sharing along important value chains with representatives from industrial and technology companies using concrete application scenarios. We will include the perspectives of the economic areas of Japan, China, the USA and Europe for a comprehensive discussion.
